All-Inclusive. All Levels.
Twenty Years of Local Knowledge.

Ecuador Surf Camp is an all-inclusive surf camp on Ecuador's Pacific coast. Accommodation, meals, daily surf sessions, and local guiding are all included. There are no hidden extras for the core experience.

We have been living and surfing this coastline for over twenty years. That means spot selection based on what the ocean is actually doing, not a fixed weekly schedule. It means knowing when to drive north for a point break and when to stay local. For every guest, at every level.

The Pacific swell is consistent. The lineups are uncrowded. The water is warm year-round. Ecuador is one of the most underrated surf destinations in the world, and we have spent two decades learning every part of it.

Why Surfers Come to Ecuador

Surfer on an uncrowded point break on Ecuador's Pacific coast with an empty lineup behind

Ecuador sits on the equator. The water stays warm year-round, between 20°C and 26°C depending on the season. No wetsuit required, no thermal barrier between you and a long session.

The Pacific swell reaches the coast consistently from north and south. Two seasons deliver different conditions: bigger, more powerful surf from December to May, and cleaner, more shaped waves from June to November. There is no dead period.

What Ecuador does not have, compared to Bali or Costa Rica, is the infrastructure of mass surf tourism. The lineups are less crowded. The breaks between Montanita and the northern coast hold some of the most varied surf on the continent and remain largely unknown outside of a small international community.

For a full breakdown of spots, seasons, and what to expect from each part of the coast, read the Ecuador surf guide. On rest days and flat days, the coast offers more than most surf destinations.

The Camp Works for Every Level

We run daily sessions for beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers simultaneously. Each group gets spot selection and instruction matched to where they are, not a one-size program that splits the difference.

1

Beginners

Start on Montanita's forgiving right-hand point or the quieter beach break at Olon. Sessions focus on paddling, pop-up, and reading the wave. Board selection is handled for you.

2

Intermediate surfers

Work on Ayampe's consistent beach break or the multiple peaks at Canoa. The focus shifts to positioning, timing, and building confidence on more varied conditions.

3

Advanced surfers

Guided toward the breaks that match the swell on any given day. On the right conditions, that includes Mompiche's long left-hand point in Esmeraldas Province, one of the most demanding and rewarding waves on Ecuador's coast.

What Our Guests Say

100+ reviews

I've done surf trips in Costa Rica and Mexico, but this surf camp in Ecuador was easily one of the best experiences I've had. The instructors were patient, the waves were consistent, and the atmosphere felt super welcoming from day one. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the food after long surf sessions was incredible. Perfect balance between surf, relaxation, and meeting great people.

Amazing experience from start to finish. I came as a beginner and left confidently catching green waves by the end of the week. The coaches really take time to help everyone improve regardless of skill level. Ecuador itself was beautiful, and the camp had such a friendly and laid back vibe. I'd absolutely come back again.

This surf camp exceeded my expectations. Great local knowledge, uncrowded surf spots, and a genuinely fun crew running the camp. Every day was organized really well, from surf sessions to transportation and meals. What stood out most was how personalized the coaching felt. You can tell the team truly cares about giving guests an unforgettable experience.
